SCHOOLS WITH
CHARACTER!
FEATURING THE ARTWORK OF SARAH MEADOWS
BEDFORD MIDDLE SCHOOL
In the summer of 2004, Sarah was
commissioned to paint The General, which is Bedford Middle School's (Bedford,
VA) mascot. He proved to be quite the popular man on campus! Painted
in three locations: the main hallway, the gymnasium, and the cafeteria, staff
and students alike know that "Someone is always watching..."
Left: Sarah with The General in the main hall at
BMS Right: The General in the gym (He's pretty high up on the
wall!) And where is the cafeteria General? Why, he's out to lunch,
of course! (He's approx. the same height as the gym General)
PULASKI ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
In the fall of 2004, Sarah was
commissioned to design the Pulaski Panther mascot for the new Pulaski Elementary
School, in Pulaski, VA. The example, shown below, is one of several
revisions. The panther was drawn and colored by hand. The text and
diamond were created in Photoshop.
